what a week
Thurs - Drove to Canoga Park with Bonano to Bianchi's house. Skated Pedlow park.. Band practice. So far so good. Picked up some wanker in ventura county haha. Santa Paula or more preferably "ghost town".
Went to the Hot Rods show. Got there when Joneses played their last 2 songs. Saw them twice before. Their first reunion at the airliner show was the best one. the second time i saw them they sucked. Wasnt interested in seeing Prima Donna since i saw their i think second show at a park in la habra with the havoc in 05'. Soda pop kids eh. I had a Great time. If i was wearing a tie, i would've gone upstage and pull off the same thing i did back when the hot rods played in 05 which was do the Life On The Line cover hang myself with my tie.
Rumors of afterparties later ensued. None of which came according to plan. drove to stupid gay silverlake for an "afterparty". no one showed up. although the house look just like a bar.
Friday - Party in Santa Ana. Buck wild!!!!!
As i was approaching the party, i heard gun shots then another one and i heard shattered glass so i took off running inside the party. behind my trail where some little gangstas. no one got hurt. chicks dancing on top of tables getting their freak on and stripping down to their thongs or something. fighting broke out over a girl. Raided. Another party was poppin a mile away but by the time we showed up it got raided.
Sat - Backyard show in Fullerton with My Pet Saddle, The Growlers and other ones. Alot of people showed up. later turned into a big party. fantastic. there was another party down the block. it was great.
then after a while we took off to Anaheim for Karlas party. took a long time finding it cause people dont know how to give directions. saw a few people i know. it was a good night. then we headed back to the Fullerton party. then after a while, me and bonano went back to karlas party. we happen to like both parties.
Sun - Not much just band practice with another band. The Confusionist. pretty silly name but it is a word that best describes Teresa and Neptune Monalisa. apparently we got a gig at an art gallery in santa ana. Free cheese and wine.
if all goes well, i might even sing a poem.
theres a side project called Captain Ish and the Space Cadets. very Spizz Energi a 'la Gary Numan/Tubeaway Army to Chrome und Fad Gadget. A little of Kraftverk.
