(no subject)
i hated college when it first started. when i found out that ash and i got community bath, i wanted to cry. i did cry....jk.
but now, it's all cool, i loooooove college and community bath doesn't
really bother me that much. im glad i've adapted (too much psych
class!) and realizing that nothing's as bad as it seems. well some
things are..but college is cool now.
retreat was amazingly awesome and fun. im glad i went. it was filled with wonderful experiences..and not so wonderful..haha.
bad experience --> first nite we're there, it starts storming around 1 am, but it's cool b/c we're all in the cabin already having girl talk. then we all go to bed later and i wake up around 4 am. i realized that my butt was wet. and..sadly, first thought that came into my head was "did i just pee on myself???" so i get up and turn on the light, waking up justine and izzi (srry guys!) to see what the deal was. turns out the ceiling was leaking and HALF of my mattress was soaking wet with rain water. it had gone through the sheets and everything. luckily, i was blessed with izzi and justine's kindness and they pulled their mattresses together so that all three of us could fit. :o) however, next day, i got to small group. ariel, my small group leader is awesome and she heard of the story and starting laughing, but that was cool. but the rest of our small group, all boys, said that they had heard about my little "accident." i was embarressed, but it was funny....
good experience --> getting to know a lot of the frosh-ies, self-awareness of what a Christian should be, good speaker jonathan, singing prince of peace, getting to know a lot of non-frosh-ies, studying w/ justine and our randomness, ramen night!!, good intense-thought-provoking small groups, funny emcee's, singing disney songs @ the top of our lungs, froggies/lizards/flies/mosquites and being girly-girls and screaming and running away from them.
