The majority of ONTD consists of fan girls/boys for fucks sake. If today the post was about Mad Men, Dexter, Glee or any other show, they'd be shitting their pants in excitement over the fan art. But because Inception and the ship of Arthur/Eames is getting a bad name for being overexposed, suddenly everyone's like "well fuck, fan art is ~creepy."
Especially that particular person in the thread that replied to a link of a really good fan artists DA saying, "All that talent and that's all they draw."

Quick guys, stop drawing fan art because omg you have better things to do than to contribute to the fandoms you love in your own way. Fan art is all you artists draw, because evidently you're not spending hours upon hours practicing sketching and shading and coloring and proportions and learning how to use digital art programs. Apparently using fan art as a more pleasurable medium to practice drawing is the dumbest thing to do.
