Slash is really getting to me, I really thought that I'd ONLY have House/Wilson as my main source of boy love. But it sure doesn't seem to be that way anymore. Yeah, okay, I'll admit I've been an ardent slasher ever since I realized BL existed in Japanese comics, but I haven't actually WANTED to ship any one in any show, comic, story or whatnot as much as I do for House/Wilson. And just when I thought they'd probably be the only two guys I'd die just to see their relationship become canon, someone brings CSI: NY to school, and I just HAPPEN to find Danny/Mac so irresistible that I start shipping them with this brand new type of vigor. Sucks for me, for little did I know, the major slash pairing in the CSI: NY fandom wasn't my OTP, but instead Danny/Flack. Eh, it's not like I hate Don or anything, because I do love his character- but somehow, some way, that ship makes me wanna choke someone as much as seeing Danny/Lindsay and Mac/Peyton in the current season.
Now if seeing my OTP in CSI: NY ruined because both Danny and Mac get involved in a new relationship isn't enough, how about mentioning 3x15 of House? Where ALL of the ships in the fandom gets to have a round with House. Cameron makes out with him in his office (which I am still furious about), Chase gets to hug him, and Cuddy allows him to grope her ass. NOW WHERE THE FUCK IS HOUSE/WILSON?!?!?!?!?!?!? In the end WIlson had to BEG House to go out with him, and deep inside I think House didn't care enough to notice those neon lights flashing above Wilson's poor, lonely soul. Which reminds me, gah, I need to write those fics I promised I'd do on Friday D:
I really want to start a ceremonial fire to the slash gods and tell them to smite all the existing het pairings that I don't like within these two fandoms.
