Star Trekkie = me?

Recently I'm really disappointed with House. I mean, the last episode wasn't like, epic!fail or anything, but I just grew very very tired of it all of a sudden. No reason asked as to why. Even I don't perfectly understand why this is. I still love House/Wilson so, so much. But somehow, I'm just feeling a little bit cold with the show. The whole aspect of House/Wilson never being able to be "together" is starting to hit me pretty hard. And I think they will fuck up the show even more as they go. I don't want to see it crash and burn. Seasons 1 and 2 were so good. Hell, they kind of got back on track in Season 4, and S5 seemed so promising. But they just HAD TO mess Huddy up. WTF.

In need for some comfort due to my favorite show in the world making me feel like all my pride for it has gone to waste, I came across Star Trek: The Next Generation on tv. It's not the slashiest thing on tv right now, but I seriously fell in love with it-- albeit 22 years late of it's original air time. But I don't care, I finally realized why people like/used to like it so much now/back then. It's really a good show, and you can ship almost anyone togther because the canon relationships on the show don't last long. I think the lurking sci-fi geek in me has finally awaken. I never was that into sci-fi stuff, but I never was disinterested either. I just think Star Trek just made me admit that, yeah, sci-fi is seriously awesome to no limits. Just like vampires and video games.

Now, guess who I'm shipping on ST: TNG?
