Watched "Alone" for the tenth time this week. God, it is soooooo good. I never actually watched a full episode more than twice within a week, but this episode broke the record (since I'd usually just skip to the parts I want to watch repeatedly in an episode after watching it from beginning to end the first few times) So I really hope that Shore and Co. won't mess it up this time around. It's the best season opener we've ever had in two years. Although "Acceptance" and "Meaning" both had their equal parts of being a good season opener- but other than the Pilot, which is designed initially to catch the audience in the first place, "Alone" is seriously the best opener, if not one of the best episodes in this show.
It is true. With the ducklings, Wilson automatically gets lesser screen time. ie, see episode 4x01 with no ducklings or anyone else to take up screen. With three of our "main cast" gone, we can only focus on the three that are left. So this episode made both the Huddy and House/Wilson shippers happy. Though I still think that Huddy is contained in almost every episode when compared to House/Wilson. But GAH, we'll still be able to find our own little happiness in each episode regardless of how less of House/Wilson there is. That's what's different about H/W-ers :D
Although I claim we H/W-ers have a high tolerance, I STILL WANTS Wilson to get MOAR SCREEN TIEM this season. Better yet, GIVE US SO MUCH WILSON TILL WEE BLOWS UPS!!!! :D :D :D :D
House/Wilson scenes? I don't think need to say anything :3 I was screaming in my friends ear whenever House/Wilson appeared. He was like, "scream all you want, I know you love them. I will sacrifice my ears." LOL.
Wilson seriously tore the bridge of the Flying V off, though....... I thought that was kinda pushing it, no?
I really wanted to see how House got his SHE guitar back D: Oh well. I think the comment about the guitar being a "she" and "totally not a dude" is simply acting as a splash of cold water on the HoYay, cooling it down a little. You gotta admit, the amount of it in this episode is BURNING and melting screens like boiling lava. So, people, again, you are overreacting to say that House/Wilson are OMG DED D: D: D: WOEEEE because of such a small statement from House. BEING OVERLY DRAMATIC MUCH?
Besides, House's baby grand is a male. We all know he loves his baby grand more than anything.
I personally think that the new filming techniques aren't too bad, so I won't bitch and moan and cry and whine like SOME PEOPLES DO. Though I did notice the lighting kinda went back to the season 1 lighting. The only thing I didn't like about the whole change that the House crew made would be the lighting. Why? Because it hurt my eyes. Back in season 1, the whole screen was processed with darker colors, so the halo-ish lighting/glow fitted in perfectly. But when you have season 3 color processing and season 1 lighting, it's like staring directly at the sun on a cloudless day- not my ideal concept of comfort, eh?
Then again, what the hell. I love the show anyway.
