Back to work!
This morning had to go to the clinic to have baby's first check-up. It wasn't too much of a long wait but after going into the check-up room, I had to go out again to have the baby weighed and measured coz no one told me to do so before-hand :/
Anyway, midwife declared everything is normal (thankgoodness, though she did ask if he was born pre-term which he wasn't) and baby needs to come back to the clinic in his 2nd month for some shots & a doctor's check-up. After baby's check-up was done I had to go home to get my injection coz I forgot to bring it along and drove back to the clinic to have it administered. Then back home to make a bottle of milk coz baby was being fussy.
We got to the restaurant (baby, maid and I) at around 9am and I helped the maid set the baby down with his cradle, diapers and all before I began to sort out the counter where I'll continue manning, with my own stuff (laptop, printer, stationery etc). Now I'm settled and slowly getting into the groove of my work. It's pretty quiet at the mo, though that's to be expected since its a Saturday.
I hope I can swing by the stores later to buy some baby stuff that I need. There's going to be a slight change to my working hours since I have a baby now & that he'll be coming to work with me everyday. Also, tomorrow mum will be going to Indonesia for 8 days for business :/
And sis will be going to Manchester and Istanbul for a tour soon :/
Ah so jealous. I can't afford to have a holiday overseas at the mo with the baby and my passport expired a few months ago :/
