I conducted my first choir today. Well, I've taken vocal prep for the Minims before, but this was different - years 10-12. I kept fucking up the one two three four hand movement, but they were mostly looking at their music anyway... :P
It was fun. :)
And I've been populating the foyer of Irving Hall with my paintings and assorted works - so far there are sixteen things in there, and I've got another ten things to finalise before Tuesday. So pleasing to lay everything against the wall, stand back, and know that it's all your own work. A bit scary, too, because the IB exhibition is a warts and all affair - very different from your perfect final pieces in VCE.
Oh, god, I'm tired. In three hours I'll be awake again to finish annotating, then the books off to the examiner. I'm facing the terrifying knowledge that by 8:30 am I will have to have come up with titles. Because we're not allowed to do the 'Untitled No. 483' thing. *amused*
I am looking forward to a summer of picnics and massages and literature and snuggling. Also gallomphing (there's a very specific technique, George and I might make an instructional video :D), and consuming too much alcohol on occasion, and JAZZ BARS oh wow it will be BRILLIANT. I'll stop before I make a list of one hundred things...
