Chak de! India!
Oi! If anyone wants something to do on Saturday (or Next Friday, but I can't go that day), then you're all welcome to come along to be an extra in Shah Rukh Khan's new film Chak De! India. The plot is basically a Bollywood version of Bend it like Beckham, with Shah Rukh Khan as the coach. (!!!)
The details are as follows:
Saturday 18 November - I should be there from 12:20 'til the afternoon.
State Netball Hockey Centre, 10 Brens Drive, Royal Park Melbourne. (It's next to the Zoo Station on the Upfield line.)

CROWDS NEEDED FOR INDIAN FEATURE FILM CURRENTLY BEING SHOT IN MELBOURNE
MEET SHAH RUKH KHAN!
Crowds are invited to be part of the feature film Chak De! India (Go India!), shooting in Melbourne over the next couple of weeks. The film revolves around the Indian women’s hockey team coming to the World Cup Games in Australia, and stars India’s biggest star Shah Rukh Khan.
Come in national dress, wear your colours, paint your face and be ready to make some noise - the more you stand out, the more likely you will be featured! People of all ages welcome! There will be prizes and some lucky crowd members will win a photo with Shah Rukh Khan!!!
Please report to the Black Cat Films Crowd Controller, Bidyut, Nicci or Julia, Level 1, on the Grandstand.
Chak De! India is directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Yash Raj Films (the company behind Salaam Namaste) with Australian Line Producers Swish Black Cat Films. The film is supported by Hockey Victoria, Tourism Victoria and the Melbourne Film Office.

p.s. as you can probably tell from the tags, today was brilliant. Maths didn't involve any guessing at all and I only missed one and a half questions from section C at the end, I definitely passed French listening and I'm pretty sure that Science was an A! And then after the phone cord (the long phone cord which I stretched into the next room because Mum refuses to get a cordless phone) broke, I determinedly pulled a phone from the wall, and carried it through the studio/my room to the front office room and pulled the cord from the credit card machine out and now I can sit on a mattress and talk to people without craning my neck and pissing off people next door and guh the luxury.
