Okay so I am probably going to "ruffle some feathers" but this is my forum..and I am going to use it...
I think instead of spending countless dollars on restoring New Orleans, I say that we just get rid of new orleans all together (because it's flooded over with toxic water and naturally is going to keep flooding) and give that same money to the homeless families so they can relocate and start their lives over again. Because if you think about it... when they rebuild New Orleans, whenever that happens, those families will still be out of jobs out of homes and in the same position they are now. Sure the government says they are going to help them out...but does that ever really happen? I say give those people the money, and leave Orleans underwater.
