Well here is my humongous post.
Whats happening in my life atm:
- mum and Dad, despite their not wanting a dog, are completely besotted by Remus
- I've hardly had time to catch up with Nut one-on-one and now she's heading up to Kal :(
- The job is going well and lots of fun
- Moving out of my Shenton Park flat and into half a house in Mundaring. YAY!!!!
- Have to re-enroll in a couple more subjects this year at TAFE :(
Ok, so Remus has come such a long way and is still a sook, but is acting more like a Puppy than ever before. I am completely into mothering mode (Jayde is laughing at me right now). Just need to get his ;leg fixed (I think hes done a partial cruciate) and then he can go on walks and get me fit.
I can't belive how much I'm looking forward to moving in to my new place. When you're there it gives the impression of being a distance from shops, when in reality the only traffic lights in the entire Mundaring council and the rest of the town centre are a minute's walk away. Remus will have a slightly smaller back yard to patroll, and warn anybody off. There is one possible down-side ... I'm only 25 minutes fromn M+D, but I'm certain they will only come when invited (or when they are desperate to see their grandson :P )
My boss is a real temperamental bastard, who I found out last public holiday is also sexist. And I cant retaliate or it will get him in a foul mood and we'll all suffer his temper, and unreasonableness.
That said, when he is in a good mood, he can be a good teacher, and he is a brilliant vet. Not as good as Ross (who is the one I want looking a Remus). Nor as dorkingly funny as David, who I seem to be teamed up with a lot. Apparently David pisses the others off. I get along with him quite well. You know how we heydenrych sisters love dorky/corny jokes :P
I still hate Tafe, and especially hate talking aboaut it when I just want to push it as far out of my mind as possible during the holidays. Yet last weekend Mum, Dad and Chesna all sat around (when I was in a corner) to talk to me about it. Of course I felt trapoped anxious so of course the discussion did not go well. F-ing tafe.
Just finished house sitting the house (and zoo) of a workmate of Mum's. 2 dogs, 3 cats, tropical fish, budgies, parrot, pond fish. I tried having Remus there for a while, which did get his confidence up, but then he and Ronnie would have arguments. They would growl and snap at eachother Well Ronnie would growl and snap at Remus and Remus started not backing down immediately. So I asked mum and Dad to dogsit Remus. They were ecstatic said it would be okay. I must admit, I kept giving treats to Sneaky, one of their cats, because he was friendly without the demandingness of the dogs.
