6:33 PM 6/25/06 · Hopefully neither one will flop but this is an interesting week for comic to film releases. This week, dubious on the specific day, Superman Returns hits the big screen. However, on the smaller screen is something I've long been looking forward to and I know which exact day it comes out.
That would be Wednesday, on Spike TV, at 10pm.
Put together by the same people that did the Blade series of movies and the folks that wrote and directed Batman Begins, Blade the Series starts this week. Wesley Snipes is no longer playing one of the more interesting of vampire slayers but the commercials are looking good for the new guy. Looks like they may be drawing a bit more heavier from the comics this time around, seems to have a signficantly more mystical edge to it than the films did.
