Day 18 - [Voice]

[By the time the experiment wears off for him, Kouki feel pretty bad. Terrible for how he acted around people he knows, those he consider as his friends.

It's really a reminder of his sense of self. A demon king that's still 'human', no matter what the rest of the world back home thinks. If that's taken away or is finally gone...]

[Ahh-- there he is. She knew it was only a matter of days]

What exactly was I right about? You being effected?

That's right. Being affected, that is.

[The filter's up because he suspected she might have questions.]

[She does indeed have a few questions, so she'll start right off the bat--]

After I reverted back to normal, I reexamined the actions of others as well as my own. It seems that this experiment turned some of us into our opposites, which is how I caught on that you were affected along with the others. But what confused me was your negative attitude towards 'humans' as you referred us to. Tell me, Wakahisa-san, does this have to do with that change you returned to Luceti with?

[He would think 'thank God' for filters, but that'd be just ironic.]

...Would you mind if we speak about it in person?

That's fine with me. I'll be there shortly.

[With that she closes her journal and makes her way out of the apartment and towards the school]

[He's waiting at the playground. It didn't take him long to get there, as CH7 isn't that far from it.

Once Naoto arrives, he's sitting on a jungle gym bar.]

[It takes her a little longer than Kouki to get there since she has to go all the way around the plaza. As she does arrive in the playground area, she spots Kouki and makes her way over to him, not bothering to sit down on any of the bars herself]

Hello, Wakahisa-san.

[He slide off the bars, so he's standing in front of her.]

Hello, Shirogane-san.

[She gives him a small smile, it's nice that he's back to his normal friendly self.]

I hope you don't mind if we get right to the point? [She isn't trying to be rude, by all means. Her curiosity is peaked]

I don't mind at all.

[He thinks for a short moment.]

As you can probably guess from my words in our last encounter, I'm no longer 'human'.

Yes, I assumed something along those lines. [Though she still thinks of him as a human]

Back when I was human, I found myself participating in the War of Bel. Powerful demons of Bel fight each other for the right to be King of Bel, overlord of all demons.

I won.

I see, and so now you are proclaimed the King of Bel. But if this new title has stripped you of your humanity, then what are you? A God?

In a sense, yes.

...In the past, there was a supreme god known as Bel. However, he was usurped and scattered into pieces by Yehowah, the Judeo-Christian God. So my power is like a god, however demonic, since all the Bels are inside me.
