Day 7 - [ACTION] | [VOICE]

Oct 24, 2010 21:27

Well, it could be worse, I suppose.

Beside the whole 'not taking them off' part, I'm wondering if there's anyone who doesn't mind their costumes?

[Guess who is also in costume, Luceti?

Later on, Kouki will be out and about outside, looking around curiously at the change in scenery. Sometimes, he would pause to give people a second glance at their ( Read more... )

I suppose it is to be expected that I do not mind my "costume", given I cannot see it.

[Then again, she doesn't see any of them and only learned by word of mouth that anything had changed in Luceti.]

Although, these high-heeled shoes do make walking rather difficult.

Really? That's one way of dealing with it, but did you manage to learn how to walk by now?

I am capable of walking, yes, but I must walk much slower to avoid tripping.

[Spoilers: she's already tripped like 12 times today and this is just day 1.]

That must be...annoying.

[He wish you good luck in that case.]

It is certainly inconvenient. At the very least, I am glad I chose to live in a location that does not require stairs.

And what is your costume, if I may ask?

That's a good thing you do.

It's a costume of a cartoon tiger.

[Let's see, what's a tiger look like again...?] So you are now orange and striped and fuzzy?

[The image of that on what she assumes is a human boy is rather odd. Then again, for all she knows, hers may very well be the same. She adjusts the journal a bit so more of her own costume comes into view.]

I do wonder what exactly the Malnosso hope to gain from doing this particular experiments. There doesn't seem to be anything special about a simple change in attire.

Pretty much. [He looks at her costume.] You look nice.

Who knows. Maybe it's harmless? [Hopefully.]

[A smile.] Thank you.

And I do hope it remains as such. I have seen others around the village already quite upset with the ways things are now.

Hopefully. There's probably some impractical costumes out there to be stuck in.

At times like this, I almost wish my sight were more conventional. I would rather like to see some of these costumes. I can make out some of the more extravagant ones, though seeing as clothing is not living, it appears in a single tint of gray.

Some looks nice, while there's some...strange ones I've seen so far.

Your sight's not normal?

[Voice] mmmfilletofsoul October 24 2010, 11:58:35 UTC
It is normal for me, but I am rather unique here. I sense creatures around me by their soul. And anything without a soul becomes rather difficult for me to sense, unless it is moving.

By their soul? [Briefly, he thinks about the Bels.] You're the first I know that do that.

Likewise, I have yet to meet another creature in Luceti with a form of sight even remotely similar to my own. So far as I know, it is a trait unique to illusionists.

Illusionists? I guess they're not your ordinary street magicians.
