Saints Win. Good day. (also the astros won too and climbed to within 2.5 back with 6 or 7 to play.... good day...)
Got a little tired of hearing about the Thing again and again, but maybe those viewers without a nola link need to have it driven into their craniums with a 2 ton hammer weilded by an 800lb gorilla.
I do give them props for following chris rose's advice in his column about let america know we're ok but we're not ok. (whether they read it or not, they did what he said). Even if they did embellish how ok things were in the so called "touristy areas." (somehow my old hood got mentioned in one of those bits, and i don't remember seeing too many tourists)
I also have to salute they often mentioned all the other areas affected of the big sleazy besides the media darling of the 9th ward. Also, they mentioned mississippi and the gulf coast more than normal too.
