the weekend
Man this weekend was so awesome! The BBQ at Angelo's was great. We played a ton of ITG2 on Travis' machine. And it was so cool. It's way better than ITG1. I never played much ITG1, so I'm not great at them yet. But I still was playing lots of DDR and PIU, so my skills didn't go away really. I was able to do well on ITG2. And have lots of fun; the songs are awesome. I was also playing IIDX and Wario Ware a lot :D haha, I whooped them all in Wario ware! I stayed at Angelo's that night. We played Spoons and BS, it was awesome.
Then Saturday morning we went to Taco Bell and saw Josh and his group of people there! It was an awesome coincidence. So then we all went back to Angelo's but his parents kicked us out soon since they wanted some peace. We went to Prince Puckler's and had amazing ice cream. Then we went to the park and played Frisbee 500. I really like Frisbee and am good with it. But I'm not that good at frisbee 500 because of my lack of height and lack of jumping skill, haha. It was really fun to run around a lot and throw frisbees though.
Saturday night poker was AWESOME. The first small $2 tourney I didn't do so hot in.
HOWEVER, during that tourney, I GOT A ROYAL FLUSH!!!! NO WAY!!! ok... so I was dealt ace and king of hearts. heck yes I'm going to play that hand. So I raise when it comes to me I think. Then the flop... queen and jack of hearts, and ten of some other suit!!! NO WAY!! I already have a straight, ace high, and almost a royal flush. woah!!! I was thinking.... no...way.... I'm not going to get it. But I bid of course. Next card is a ten of hearts!!! HOLY CRAP! It was so amazing. That was one of the best moments ever. I really don't know how I get this lucky. haha. So then I go on to lose that tourney.
I did better in the $5 tourney. The only thing I regret... I was dealt 2 and four, not suited. I just folded the hand, thinking, 'ya right!' Other people play it out, and it turns out that 3 fours got out there. WHAT THE CRAP! >_< So I folded my 2 and 4, and didn't get four 4's. Lame.
But then I ended up getting 2nd. Andy got first. Mendel got third; Travis fourth. It was funtimes. I like poker. oh ya, and I have Amber's necklace still since I'm retarded >_>
Oh ya, and it was the best because of the cool people I got to see. Like Dan. And Amber, Phylicia, Lainii, Travis, and lots of you others. The weekend was so fun thanks to you all! I had lots of fun being with everyone who was there. Thank you all.
