I'm having a great day. Although several friends and acquaintances are not :( Hope everyone ends up ok.

Yesterday was a great DDR day for me. I missed my Eastway Ex machine all week. No new AA's but I'm getting more consistent getting the ones that I already got. Finally got the guts to play Sakura on Heavy. I dunno what the big deal was. It wasn't that bad. Most definitely not a true 10 footer. Any song I can pass my first time playing it cant be a real 10. But I dont care, I'll happily walk around saying I passed a 10 footer now. The challenge steps are more fun IMO. I'm so FC'ing that soon. 2 Goods so far. Almost combo'd extra stage with cutie chaser, which I was happy about since I don't do reverse. We played lots of Jam Jam Reggae. Damn that's such a fun song, and would make a great 1x secret weapon one day perhaps. Ashlee got her first FC. Yay

Annoying showed up. He apparently had saved up a week's worth of annoyance to unleash all at once. I guess delusions of grandeur are probably more mentally healthy than being overly hard on yourself, but still, it's only the lesser of the 2 evils. He kept rattling on about how he's the "Master of Daikenkai" and "no one does it better than him" cause he FC'd it on Standard. Mmm, no. When you AAA a song on all available difficulties, you've then mastered it. He doesnt crossover, spends way too much energy, and flails his arms about like a penguin trying to fly. He keeps talking about how strong he is, showing his biceps, and talking about "the gym" all the time. But damn, when he uses his shirt to wipe his brow he's got a gut that needs some of that so-called working out. Maybe I'm too harsh. He's a nice guy at heart. Just expresses it wrong sometimes.

For example, a few weeks ago. we were all sitting there by the machine and someone made a joke about how we're all actually Asian cause we DDR. It got a light chuckle and that was it. But Annoying just kept running with it. "Yeah, I traded in my black card a long time ago... cause I'm not a thug... and I'm not dumb," he kept repeating. Damn, I'm white and *I* was offended by that. Dork.

After running like 9 different anti-spyware apps, I finally identified the lil bastard and had it cleaned by one of the programs. Except in the process it also tore out my TCP/IP stack altogether. And XP made it impossible to uninstall TCP/IP as Microsoft said "it's an integral part of the OS" hence very little info exists on how to get it back if something should happened to it. MS was kind enough to include a little command line program called netsh which will recreate tcp/ip for you. I'm saved! Damn spyware/hijackware. That shit is worse than a virus.

Damn I love Sakura. I listen to it on the ride home over and over. I wanna hear it right now. It's so majestic. I so need a fliptop cover so I can play it at home.
