STATES
today was cool....went to sleep to sleep at like 12 yday....woke up at 1 today...just enough time to eat nd get dressed...warmed up at school today fer like an hour or so...i knew it was gonna get colder later, so i bundled up...loaded up nd we were off soon after rehersal, i was so excited...sat next to my buddy gabby on the bus....man it was a long bus ride..while we were on the bus, ppl were doing superlatives nd i got to look at all of them since gabby was collecting them, saw many names a few times fer the same categories, but i not telling who is likely to win...anyways, when we got to allentown, we warmed up in the freezing cold for an hour or so, nd we were ready fer our show....more enduring the freezing cold nd we were finally there...it got to a point where i couldnt play my clarinet cuz my fingers literally froze up, but we managed....i didnt think it was our best performance, but the staff sure did...after that, we went to burger king for a couple of hours, nd we would be back for awards later that night....omg while we were there, our bus friggin breaks down! so we had to make 2 seperate trips back to the stadium for awards...poor me had to carry so much stuff around with me (my stuff nd gabby's since she had to leave with the first bus). we eventually made it to the stadium as one band again,n d we saw all the drum majors nd captains there on the field...we won best color guard nd percussion (im so happy for them!), 2nd in every other category, and 3rd overall, which is excellent, so im happy...our performance didnt seem 1st place worthy anyways, there were so0 many mistakes...bus ride home was basically all sleep lol, gabby couldnt sleep cuz we couldnt turn off the tv's nd she cant sleep with light on, so she kept me up as well lol..we made it back home in one piece nd now im tired as heck, see yu in the morning!
