W....whaat?!
My lord, it's been AGES since I've updated my journal! Ok, but THIS time, it really wasn't because I was just being lazy. I think the last time I updated, it was before school started, so I REEEEALY have to do some backtracking here. Where should I begin?
Okay, first of all, I love High School. Not only have I already adapted to it well, and I love all of my teachers, excluding one, but who's counting?? :D
On a more detailed note, there's a few classes I need to talk about. First of all, there's speech class. This class is by far the most time-consuming class I have EVER had. Not saying I don't like it, which I do, but GOD, I have to write a new speech just about EVERY night. But enough about the bad, now about the good. It's my first period class, so I have the chance to get my speeches over with right off the bat so that I can concentrate on other assignments afterward. That is definately a good thing. After all, some of the subjects we've been given lately are very fun. Just the other day, I explained to the entire class how I won 1st place in the county fair drawing contest last year, and brought the artwork to show it. Needless to say, it has been my best speech yet (I made a 95; most of my other grades are in there are in the low 90's).
Secondly, there is Biology, or as I like to call it, "The fancy word for High School science". My teacher is GREAT. I came to find out that he had my mom AND my dad in class when they were in school. More importantly though, I get along with him great, and that helps ease the tension in his class, which ultimately may increase my grade by a few points.
I still can't believe where all the time goes, though! It feels like it's been an eternity since I've been on LJ, and I'm just glad that I got the chance to update tonight. Well, anyway, I need to go to sleep early tomorrow so I won't be tired. G'night, all!
