Desert Training
Well, I am back in desert training. I arrived here yesterday to 29 Palms. I am actually back in the same building that I was in for my last evolution out here. The training is going well for now. It gets cold at night and we do not have heaters in the aluminum building that we are living in but hey I am used to that. The last couple of weeks I was in a course called Tactical Combat Casualty Care. I got the chance to refresh some of my critical skills before heading back in country. In the field phase it was cold and raining so this has prepared me for our stay out here in the palms. I can't wait to get done with training so that I can go home to see my son. He is telling everyone that I am coming home for his birthday but I am not going to be able to I will be in training still. I will get to go home for about a week to see him before deployment though.
I just opened up the book Wicked. I received it for a Valentines gift. I have not gotten far yet but I am excited to read it. I am at The Birth of a Witch and am loving it!!! I think that I might be getting tickets to go see the musical for my Birthday....It is Live in LA right now and will still be there when I get done with training. Well at least I hope that I get to see it before I leave for Iraq. Other than that not much going on for me.
