god knows that I am tone-deaf! - you'd be perfect for karaoke!! that's why i do rap songs and country music when i do karaoke...rap, you don't have to know how to sing and country, well country seems to sound okay if you can't sing but put a lot of twang in it and throw in some "yee haws" and stuff!

I will have to try that. How ironic that you would mention karaoke; in the chowhall tonight they had a karaoke machine set up. Rest assured I did not sing.

that is a little ironic. i'm toying with the idea of doing a voice post of me doing karaoke some night at the bar i go to. my signature song is "bust a move" by young mc...yeah, i have a signature song...i used to go EVERY thursday and do a couple of songs. it's so much fun!

I have been to a couple of Karaoke Bars but I can never muster up the courage to get up and sing. I have social anxiety disorder, I get very nervous when speaking to large groups so I am cure that I would most likely run off the stage at a Karaoke Bar.

HAHA!! the first time i ever did karaoke i was pretty drunk. as time went on i got used to doing it sober. i remember being so nervous, but you are supposed to be bad at karaoke...that's the point. some of the best people are the worst ones. it's great! there are a few people that can really sing where i go, then you have the american idol wannabes who THINK they can sing...they crack me up! it's really fun though...do a song with a buddy and it's easier the first time around.

Okay,
I may have to try it when I get back to the States so I can at least be a little bit drunk.

No not yet!! You will have to do your very own rendition of YMCA first. You will have to be the sailor... (Department of the Navy, Marine Corps)

Yes,
The Village People was the name of the group. It was an Indian, Cop, Sailor, Construction worker, Cowboy, and a dude dressed up in leather.
