I'd better start putting together my deck. I still got most of my cards, but I'll need to make a trip down to Black Crown for some more

Shizuka-chan and Yuugi-kun. Here's the thing, Raphael *lowers voice* I'm a very busy guy, and I can't watch out for my friends all the time. I think Yuugi-kun is pretty much safe, but Rishid has been sniffing around Shizuka-chan, and I don't trust the guy. He's an animal. I need someone to keep their eye on him and let me know right away if he goes near her. If he touches her I'll be straight there to kick that creep's ass.

Can we sort something out?

I've been keeping an eye on Rishid for a while, kid. He's dangerous, definitely, but he doesn't pose a direct threat to Shizuka. He poses a pretty awesome threat to you, though, if you're stupid enough to think you could beat him up.

Beyond being twice your size, he's got Dartz's backing, which goes a long way toward making him someone best simply avoided.

I disagree. He poses a threat to Shizuka-chan, but not in the violent sense (At least I hope not). She's too naive to see it. And too timid to say no if he tries anything.

*laughs softly* I'm not stupid, Raphael-san. I realize how dangerous he is. But that won't stop me protecting my friends if I have to.

If you don't want to get involved, I can respect that.

The thing is I've been involved for a really long time. And I've already got it all under control.

Best thing to do is leave Rishid a long enough rope to hang himself and wait for him to self destruct. Mess with him too much and he'll get careful.

Under control, Raphael-san?... *curious* How? I thought he was dangerous at the Battle City finals, but now he seems to be working on a whole new level - pushing someone out of a window? Not cool.

I guess I could back off a little, but I'm not happy about this. If any of my friends get hurt...

Most likely you'll be the first to get hurt, if anyone does. The time you're spending with Shizuka is sure to draw attention from more than one person.

Rishid's certainly not a nice guy; He's working with Dartz. Only reason he's doing it is to get vengeance on him, he says, but he's still obviously doing the soul stealing deal often enough.

Hard to say. Dartz's mind is a sharp as a pool toy, but Rishid's witless enough that if I caught on to something like that I'd keep letting him believe he's in control.

Rishid, Atemu, Bakura... Yami No Malik... A lot of dangerous people have spent time with Shizuka.

I hope Rishid's as clueless as you say, Raphael. With any luck it'll all backfire on the jerk.
