home again, home again, jiggity jig...

Goddamn... How is it that I never have any time to update this damn thing? I flew into Orlando Int'l on Friday afternoon, where I was warmly met with open arms, by my Stephen, who I missed terribly.

The last week I was in Virginia was a busy one... Had the Wednesday 13 show at Jaxx on the 7th, with the lovely Miss Julia's band, Cobra Kisses opening. Ended up spending half the afternoon on a hunt for a 4 x 6 American Flag, and matching bandana, that Wednesday asked me if I could please try to find. All was a success, as I found the flag, and Miss Jerica found the bandana on her drive down from Baltimore with Miss Barbara. Had an awesome night hanging with everyone, and catching up with my Girls, and the Wednesday crew.

Was SSSOOO glad to have the next day off, and took advantage of the extra time, by meeting up with my Brother, Sister-in-Law, and my sweet little Nephews, and going out to lunch. I think Bradley and Tanner both grew about a foot each, since I last saw them.

Work, work, work, the rest of the week... After work on Tuesday though, we decided to meet up with my Aunt Vickie, Uncle Eddie, and my Brother, and get some crabs! GodDAMN was that awesome! And godDAMN do I wish I could jump in a time machine and go back and do it again!

Thursday was my last day in the office... And it was an emotional one. I HATE having to say goodbye to everyone, especially my family. I really wish I was able to just teleport myself up there whenever I want... I feel very torn with my living situation, and almost feel like I'm caught in a love triangle... If that makes any sense. I am never completely happy in either place, because I'm always aching for the other one... When I'm up there, I love it, but I miss Florida... And when I'm home, I love it, but I miss Virginia. GODDAMNIT!!

Anyway, as of 4 pm, I had only gotten to say bye to my Grandfather... I hadn't yet seen my Dad, my Uncle Patrick, or my Uncle Marc, and it was really bumming me out... My Dad ended up stopping by, and we had a very heartfelt and emotional goodbye. Even though I didn't get to spend much time with him while I was up there, it still hit both of us pretty hard when I had to leave... Then at 4:59, as Vickie and I were leaving, Patrick pulled up, and we then engaged in conversation for the next half hour. I was still really sad that I didn't get to see Marc though... But as it worked out, Carolyne called my cell on my drive back, and said she just happened to be meeting Marc at Starbucks, and did I want to stop by? So even though I knew it was bound to be a 2 hour endeavor, as us Williams' LOVE to talk when we're around each other, and I knew I had too much to do... I went anyway, and had an amazing time. The weather, however, was fucking FREEZING, so I guess I left VA just in time, LOL!

Friday was rough... I got up early, went downstairs and said bye to Carolyne. I started crying, and didn't want to leave. I also got choked up on the drive to the Airport with my Mom, and had to fight back the tears when I hugged and kissed her goodbye. She is going to try to come visit me soon, and I REALLY, REALLY hope that she does. I miss everyone so fucking badly. :(

When I got back to Orlando, I returned to MUCH warmer weather... I almost forgot how much warmer it still is down here. Stephen and I decided to head over to International Drive for lunch before heading back to Ocala. I was really sad to see that my favorite Restaurant in Orlando, Race Rock, had closed :(

When I got home, I was greeted warmly by my sweet little Babies, who I missed pretty damn badly! I swear, Halo has gained at least another 5 pounds since I last saw him. He's quickly catching up to Maya and will outweigh her pretty soon.

Since then, I've been getting back into the swing of things... I've got mountains and mountains of paperwork that will take me weeks to get caught up with, and on top of that, Stephen and I have been making up for our "2 weeks apart", which has been quite time consuming :) Of COURSE I'm not complaining ;) ;) ;)

A lot going on in the next couple of weeks, so hopefully soon, I will have something more interesting to post about. Until then, back to work!
