On Wednesday, Carolyne and I took the Metro into Georgetown and went shopping, walked around etc. I was really bummed because my favorite store isn't there anymore, and my other favorite store totally sucks now, lol! But, I found a really pretty bracelet in an Indian store, so all was not lost :)
Yesterday, we went to my Dad's property in the Mountains. Had a magical day frolicking through the forest, hugging trees (yes, really), and playing in the River with the Dogs. I loved seeing my Dad again, but was sad because he was really tired and depressed (which is usually the case).
There is a Lacuna Coil / In This Moment show at Jaxx tonight that I REALLY, REALLY want to go to, but it is sold out! Damnit for me not knowing in advance! In This Moment is one of my new favorite bands, and I am frustrated as hell that the show is only 5 minutes down the street. CURSES!!
