YouTube in a cafe

I don't understand people who come to a cafe, buy a drink, sit at a table alone, and then watch YouTube videos with headphones on. Couldn't they do this at home?

I also don't understand people who stop what they were doing, log into Livejournal, and then write a post about these first people.
