[Maraich, Squalo, Yuffie]

Maraich was sleeping peacefully in his bed.

At least that's what he had been doing. He'd been snuggled up taking a nap with his kids when the bed suddenly seemed a lot less comfortable. As much as he tried to adjust it didn't work.
He opened his eyes and saw that the ceiling was closer than it should be. A lot closer. And the bed wasn't nearly as ( Read more... )

After a long day of working and pickpocketing innocent civilians, Yuffie had also gone to bed. Her nice, soft bed. It was just too bad that went out of the picture, only to be replaced with the hood of a car. However, Yuffie was a heavy sleeper, and continued to doze as a snot bubble grew and shrank from out of her nose.

She only began to stir as she felt something tickling her arm. At first she just rolled over, attempting to ignore it. Unfortunately, the tickling didn't go away. Instead, a hissing sound began to accompany it, and that's when Yuffie cracked an eye open.

It only took a few seconds of her staring down at the giant centipede before she began to shriek.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!"

Being an assassin, Squalo was used to sleeping in all sorts of shelter. Cars, tents, out in the open, everything. So even though he was inside a car, sleeping, he did not wake up. That was until an unfamiliar voice shrieked. Which brought Squalo awake, immedtiatly alert.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" The silver haired Italian man had thought the voice belonged to one of his teammates. Instead, he turned to find a stranger with a centipede crawling on her, as well as the fact that he had been sleeping at the steering wheel of a car. Looking into the mirror of the car, he also noticed Maraich in the backseat.

"What the hell is going on here!?"

As if the first two hadn't been enough, Maraich kicked the back of Squalo's chair, "Will you two knock it off?! The kids are sleeping!"

At least they had been. Matthias had been jostled abruptly from his nap and was crying now, while Figaro simply woke up. He immediately went into mommy-mode and tried to calm Matthias down. Which was hard when he had a kid in each arm.

"VOOOOUUUUUUIII!

He cursed silently to himself, trying to keep in mind that Maraich didn't appreciate such words around his children from the last time he had stayed with the other. Turning to where Yuffie was, he gritted his teeth at the giant insect. Squalo reached over to grab it and, at the same time, opened the car door to toss it out. That's when he noticed that the car just wasn't just in some parking lot.

Maraich tried to figure out his surroundings. No doubt this was the community's fault.

He set down Figaro on the chair beside him and continued to try and calm down Matthias as he settled down, "Well, you're in the driver's seat. Why can't we just drive along the path until we reach someplace?"

"Well that's just a fuc- fric- dandy plan! We don't know where we are but you want us to drive until we reach someplace?"

Without much hesitation, Squalo reached for the driver wheel after one last observation of their surroundings. Something wasn't quite...right here. It was probably the community's fault, yes, but people didn't suddenly just end up in cars surrounded by a strange enviorment. Was that some gates upahead that he could make out?

Maraich had no problem getting snippy right back, "You're right. Let's sit here instead. Maybe someone will come get us."

He gave the back of the driver's seat a firm kick, "I am not carrying two kids through a jungle when we could drive a car!"

He continued kicking the seat.

"Alright! Alright! Quit kicking my seat and I'll drive!"

Squalo glared slightly, looking for the keys of the car, or anything that was going to start the car. It was better driving then someone kicking his seat. And Maraich did make a point about not carrying the kids through a jungle. Even though by foot they could hide from whatever dangers that brought about them. A car could only give you so much safety.

Maraich stopped kicking, holding onto one cranky baby. Next to him Figaro appeared quite calm - probably the calmest one there as he sat in the seat.

"So does anyone recognize where we've been dumped off? It's a bit weird to be teleported in the middle of a random jungle," he glanced out the window, "If there's a door there must be other buildings somewhere. People don't just build doors in the middle of a jungle."

During all of this, all Yuffie could do was stare at them in shock. Finally, she was able to find her voice long enough to scream at them.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS?!"

Maraich slammed his foot into the back of Yuffie's chair, "STOP SHOUTING! YOU'RE SCARING THE BABY!"

Matthias didn't take to strangers as it was. He definitely didn't take to strangers shouting in scary places. He clung to Maraich's chest tightly.

"I'm Maraich."

She rolled forward on her seat due to the force of the kick. "Hey, what gives?! Why are there babies in the car!? Why are we even in a car?!" Yuffie looked over at Squalo. "And you still haven't answered my question!"
