gets + Lillie!

Good afternoon everyone! I wasn't expecting to make this post till later, but the mail came really early today ^ ^  Below the cut is some pokedoll gets, and a whole lotta Lillie merch 🌸

First up is the pokedolls!

I loved the special events that surrounded legendaries in old games, and my first one was a hacked Darkrai event. I had been competing against my friend to get the very best pokemon, and one day he showed me his Darkrai and told me all about how he got a special ticket over wifi and went to a secret hotel that brought him to a super even more secret island. I thought it was the coolest thing ever! But when I went to do it, the wifi distribution had already ended. And so that's how I found an action replay and hacked the event to get Darkrai lol

This particular Darkrai is the 2007 JPN release, and ohmygod do I love it. It has such a great design! I might need to start chasing after the DX version... The 2013 rerelease really didn't do it justice like this one. I got a pretty good deal on this, only paid about $20 (including shipping) from y!jp. Same goes for Deoxys, who was 50 cents less i think. Deoxys is the 2013 minky rerelease, and that one I prefer to the original velboa. Very soft and still mildly unsettling, just the way it should be!

And here's the start of the Lillie merch! I actually got the nendoroid a while ago, but the hem of her skirt was unpainted. I was sent a replacement for free by the US pokecen team, so here she is! The replacement was just the head and body, so no back up accessories unfortunately. She comes with her hat, three face plates, three sets of arms, cosmog, a stand, and the pre-order exclusive clefairy doll.

Here's how she came straight out of the box (minus the stand, cosmog, and her hat)

And here's the box itself

She's very detailed and well-painted, with even the tiny tear drop designs cleanly printed on the figure. Her legs can twist around, and have limited forwards and backwards movement as well. Her arms can move up and down, and her braids are made out of a softer, flexible material to accommodate this. Her hat sits on top of her head, but it isn't secure so it can fall off easily.

While Lillie 1 has been replaced, she now has the bigger clefairy! Lillie 2 looks a bit disgruntled with this. The clefairy doll was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, and it's adorable! It's all minky with embroidered details. I actually picked this plush up in japan last summer, when I was rushing to board the plane. There was a mini pokemon center at the airport, and it just so happened that that day was when all the Lillie merch was released. Needless to say I grabbed the plush and the backpack, all while trying to rush to get to the plane on time

Lillie's knapsack translates really well into real life! One of my favorite kind of promotions is ones that recreate in-game items, so I was really happy to see this. It's about the size of a regular drawstring bag, and it's made of a pleather/vinyl-ish material.

It's a perfect recreation, down to the silver circles that attach the straps to the bag itself. The drawstring, though, isn't the white fabric ribbon.

The actual drawstring is inside of the bag, and when you tighten it you can tuck the loose pink strings in. The inside is simple, with a little pouch with the Lillie line tag. Overall a really cute product!

And last but not least is Nebby itself, who once again is out of the bag. This one's from the U.S center.

Thanks for reading!
