the half of things
sigh ,,, i must say i never write anything really unless i gots somthing on the brain. Really the only people that know i even have this thing are pretty much the people that are closest to me anyhow. I just had a thought that inspired a question. It is a most common question asked by people all over the world a million times a day, the question of why?
Why, is it that if you smoke half a cig. and you come back later to smoke the other half, that last half always seems to smoke so much faster then the first? This applies in so many different things and im still left with the same question of, why? Of course this question leads to many other thoughts which i usually ignor and fallasleep just to wake up to another day with the same thoughts and wonders in mind.
2007 will be a big year for me personally. As old as i may feel it will be a year of many firsts. Some things already seen and others not. First and formost on my mind is this is the year that i will see war. I will turn 25 yrs old and get my discount on my insurance and the last thing age will get me is a senior discount and knowledge. I will be gone out side of the U.S. for at least a year (i put war and being gone from the US in separate cats. cause ive done that once already). Now knowing just that about the upcoming future pends many other thoughts on the brain, yet thats not much to go by really. Things like this make me realize some things, like why that last half of that cig go's by faster then the first.
I know everyones always heard older people talk about how life flies by and well im fininding out its true. The thing is, is that when you finally start appreciating a lot of the things in life that matter or count, half of it is already gone, there for you wish you had more of it. More time to enjoy and embrace, so it go's by so much faster. You always want more of what you can't have (law of supply and demand). This is why that last half of the cig flies by. It's all about the ending of things.
