My parents' email to me:
Back in town safe & sound. Too much sun, too much food, too much booze, and not enough sleep. Hey - look at us - we're college students.

My reply:
So I've thought about this, and as I'm supposed to be
coming up with arguments as to why Scott Burnham
thinks Beethoven is a musical hero, I've instead come
up with arguments as to why you aren't college
students.
Too much sun-- see attached picture
Too much food-- I've lost 40 pounds since coming here.
Too much booze-- I haven't had a drop in a week.
Not enough sleep-- I'll give you that one.
With three of your arguments adequately devoid I will
call the fourth "circumstantial evidence" and say to
you "Bah." That's right. "Bah" is what I say to you.
