Kurt Brokaw was an SYF advisor from the late 1960s to about 1980. Kurt directed a spectacular SYF dramatic production each spring. Some that I remember are David and Lisa, Godspell, The Miracle Worker, Dark of the Moon, West Side Story, Jabberwock, The Wizard of Oz... well, no, I can't name all twenty from memory right now. Kurt was an advertising agency creative guy and worked with major accounts and major rock stars. Hell he was a rock star. So now he teaches and he is culture editor for The Madison Avenue Review and ahs some really interesting things to say about the NY Film Festival. Go to
