Ugh, I almost didn't notice the difference in the first two paragraphs - just that single word 'acting' made all the difference, and from this :DDD mood plunged into one of worry and melancholy. ;____;

Tiffany wonders if it's okay for her to love this Jessica less (this Jessica, who isn't the Jessica she had fallen in love with).

Why is this angsty JeTi ;~;

I was so happy for them, if that makes any sense, and it just turned into so much worry with the second sentence.
This is so realistic and it breaks my heart, especially this line: "Jessica has been smiling more, laughing more, sleeping less, eating less." The way jessica makes her way through each member while doing that just makes it worse.

It doesn't help that Tiffany is blaming herself. :(

Part of why this piece is so moving for me is because it mirrors a lot of my own thoughts about Jessica. She has been happier lately, and it makes wonder if it's real or forced. Even though it would suck if it was the latter (because no one should have to pretend to be happy if they really weren't), I think it would hurt more if it was the former, because then I would wonder if the Jessica I knew back then, who didn't smile as much, didn't seem as happy, was just a facade (and that I fell for a lie). But people, especially girls (XD) are complicated beings - we have many different facets to our personality. Still, we like to think we know the people we love ...

On the writing itself:
You write beautifully, you know that? I love how you show things. I love how this piece, despite how short it is, has such depth of emotion. It's not straight angst, or straight romance, or straight crack - there's different kinds and different levels of emotion that's just so impressive. I am constantly in awe of how you are able to achieve that
