Had a blast this weekend! Got to meet Nicole's family on Saturday, and they like me! They really like me! Saturday night consisted of seeing the Cardboard Vampyres, and they RAWKED! Eric pulled off some amazing vocals, making the AC/DC songs that they did sound better than AC/DC, and when they did Alice In Chains songs, you could have sworn that it was Layne Staley singing them! Got to hang with Johnny Cyanide, Black Halo, EVILette, Brett, Keri, and BANKKY, who decided to bring up things that happened at my house back in 86. Yes! All of the stories that happened in 84-89 are true. Stranger than fiction, bitches! Sunday tried to see my Grandma, but she was MIA, so we rented a couple of movies, and I bought 2 more Iowa Hawkeyes hats. Nicole even got me to buy shorts, which I don't like showing off my legs, but she's cool with. Got a call that night from my cousin Becky, because she found out I was in town and didn't tell my family (oops!). She ended up coming over to Nicole's house with pictures (Damn I hate blackmail photos). She invited Nicole to hang with the family this coming Saturday, so Nicole is officially part of the family now. Got to finally see my Grandma and my aunt Denice on Monday. They both fell in love with Nicole too, and Nicole feels the same about them. She will be visiting my Grandma at the nursing home at least once a week, plus she will be bring her some things that she needs that are not being supplied by the place she is living. My cousin hooked me up with a jeweler that has exactly the stone and setting I am looking for, for the engagement ring. I got to check it out, and it was BEAUTIFUL! From there, it was off to the airport to bring my ass back home. I just wish I could have stayed there longer!
