Two news stories this week that have caught my attention...
That Prince Harry, eh? What a wag! As soon as I first heard of the story my reaction was, "Watch the media TOTALLY over-react to this, and then see the public follow like lemmings!" - it didn't take a genius to see that coming though. I can see the headline in Private Eye now "Royal Prince Wears Fancy Dress Costume To Fancy Dress Party Outcry" and they'd be damn right. Simple response to this rubbish is, as always, don't buy the newspaper. Unfortunately there's always some PC group all too willing to take the bait and over-react. Last week the guy was packing boxes for the Red Cross to help save lives for the tsunami disaster. Oh, it got headlines alright, but not on the front page of the Scum (probably too busy telling us about Jodie Marsh's tits or Rebecca Loos' latest bullshitting, or how long it took Wayne Rooney to clean his teeth this morning, etc etc....)
Second amusing story this week was the news that Busted are splitting up. "Thank fuck for that", I thought, before being sent into hysterics by the sound of girls crying about it on the radio. Pathetic! Get over it. Pete and Carl Libertine may never gig together again - that's a real tragedy for music, do you see me crying? No. Busted are shit, they've always been shit and thankfully never will be again, "bands" like them are ten-a-penny and soon there will be another bunch of wasters making a mint out of goofy kids' pocket money and teenage chavs with nothing better to do. They'll split up and some 15 year-old dumbass will cry. C'est la vi
