Kon-El entered the headquarters of Young Justice slowly. It was his first day back since everything went down. Cadmus was gone along with everything else in his life. He had no where to go anymore.

"Long time no see." Robin said from behind him.

He turned around. "I've had a lot of things on my mind."

"I heard about Cadmus." Tim said. "I'm sorry."

"It had to be done." He said. "I miss anything?"

"Not really."

There was silence. Tim had to admit he wasn't used to this from Kon. Kon talked a lot. The silence was unnerving. He wondered if there was something else bothering him besides Cadmus blowing up.

"You want to talk about it?"

"Guardian died."

"Guardian?" Then Tim stopped because he knew who Superboy was talking about. Jim Harper. He had helped form the Cadmus Project. He also knew that he was the uncle of Roy Harper.

"Yeah." He took a deep breath. "He was killed by Shrapnel. I was so stupid." He continued. "He traded places with me just so I could get some sleep. I should have died instead. Then he tried to contact me using Deadman but he's gone."

"I'm sorry Kon." Tim said quietly. He had assumed when Kon said that Guardian died, he meant that he had died in the explosion.

"He was always looking out for me." Kon continued. "When I left Hawaii he had said I could stay at Cadmus. It was more then Superman ever offered me. He was like my big brother you know? He was always on my case about being sloppy. He also said I was being an idiot with you."

Tim grinned slightly. "I'm just sorry I never met him."

"Yeah you would have liked him."

It was quiet again.

"Where do I go from here Tim?" Conner asked. "I have no where to go. Everyone I knew is gone. I have no home."

"You can stay here."

Conner nodded his thanks.

"Have you talked to Superman?"

"No and I don't want to bother him. I've done fine without him helping me."

"Well if you need anything, let me know."

"Thanks Tim. I'm sorry about everything I said to you."

"It's okay. I want to hear more about Jim Harper." He said and they walked further into the headquarters.
