Superboy," Tim growled in frustration.
Conner Kent AKA Superboy turned around with a who me look. "What?" He asked pausing in his flirting with the counter woman at a mall. They were in Metropolis.
"We are supposed to be tracking the Joker who's in Metropolis right now." Tim reminded him. "We don't have time for food."
"Dude, seriously you need to lighten up." Conner said walking up to him. "We are off from school till we find him and how do you know he's not in this mall? I mean sure he's insane but you've seen Dawn of the Dead right?"
Silence.
"You know that movie where a group of people hide in the mall?" Silence. "The zombies come to the mall and one of the characters says maybe they remember something from their past. So I say even a crazy man needs to shop."
Tim just smacked his head with his hand. How did he get himself in this conversation? He wondered.
"You want something?"
"No. Come on Batman's going to be calling for a status report and I really don't want to tell him that we are at a mall drinking Orange Julius'."
"Afraid he'll want one?"
"No!" Tim yelled in frustration then said in a quieter voice. "No. Only Nightwing would drink it."
"Okay get him one. Didn't you say he was called in?"
Tim rolled his eyes. "Yes but..."
"Does he want orange?"
"Probably. But Superboy..."
Conner just waived him off. He ordered another Orange Julius.
Boom!
People ran by them. Conner used his telescopic vision and smiled. "See I was right." He turned to the woman behind the counter that he had been flirting with. "Watch this for me." He said handing it to her. Then he turned to Tim. "You coming Wonder Boy?"
Tim was already in pursuit of the Joker.
