A quick, happy note on the upcoming Porn Battle (in regards to DCU prompts):
The beta and questions posts for Porn Battle XII are up over on DW! In the questions post, oxoniensis has noted that:
"Having trialed grouping all the comic/comic related prompts under DCU and Marvel, I don't think it worked as well as hoped, so I'm going back to separate categories for all the comic related fandoms. If you could use the same fandom names as AO3 does, that would be a huge help when it comes to sorting them logically - thank you!"
This means (especially for us movieverse folks) that we don't have to worry about using crazy formatting on our prompts anymore! *throws confetti* \O/
So, anybody that'll be submitting DCU prompts of any sort, the AO3 link in the quote above takes you to a list of all comics and animated series tags, that will make prompt submission WAY easier, if you want to go really specific. The DCU movieverse and TV fandoms aren't listed there, but shake out as follows:
Batman (Movies - Nolan)
Batman (Movies 1989 - 1997)
Green Lantern (2011)
Supergirl (1984)
Superman (Reeveverse)
Superman Returns (2006)
Aquaman (2006)
Batman (1996)
Birds of Prey (TV)
Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
Smallville
Wonder Woman (1976)
Also, most of the DC animated movies don't seem to have entries on AO3, so don't have tags (except for Under the Red Hood, the only one I could find listed in the comics/animated series tag list), so give it your best guess if you prompt for any of those.
All in all, be specific with your prompts (or at least specific enough that the prompt wranglers will know what you mean), though you can still just use DCU or DC Comics, I think, for generic comics-verse. And use the crossover format for prompts crossing sub-fandoms (ie, Crossover, Superman (Reeveverse)/Superman Returns (2006), Lana Lang/Richard White, any).
