2009 DCU Free For All Winter Holidays Challenge
The rules are the same this time around as for all the previous community challenges:
Anyone who wants to participate is welcome, regardless of whether you have a primary challenge claim for the community. Though if you *do* have a claim, I encourage you to include your submission(s) toward your challenge. All pairings/characters, ratings, and genres are welcome. The challenge this round is this: Write fic of at least 100 words (or make graphics) for one or two of the following Special Prompts, NOT from the Free For All prompt tables:
1. Holiday Party
2. Mistletoe
3. Twinkling Lights/Star/Sparkle
4. Egg-Nog/Hot Cocoa
5. New Year's Eve/Resolutions
6. Champagne
7. Feast
8. Family/Home
9. Shelter
10. Santa Claus/Sleigh/Reindeer
11. Candy Canes/Cookies
12. Carols
13. Candles
14. Snow/Ice
15. Bundled Up
16. Gifts
17. Miracles
18. Scrooge/Grinch
Keeping things short and sweet this time, since so many other challenges are running around the broader fandom landscape. This one will run until 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, January 9th (2010), and all who participate will, of course, get a nifty banner. :)
Remember to tag your entry with fic or art or both, depending, and use the community challenge: winter 2009 tag when you post.
Please do remember you can multitask your challenge entry, too! While writing for this one, why not get double credit for bradygirl_12's 2009 DCU Fic/Art Glitter Winter Holidays Challenge and for the 2009 World's Finest Gift Exchange? As usual, all DC universes are welcome, and there are bound to be more challenges within the DCU fandom umbrella (like the upcoming 12 Days of Clois Challenge, and the 2009 Jingle Bells, Batman Smells fic exchange).
