Hi! As a solo writer, you don't have to submit a rough draft to us. If you want to, for your own purposes, you can when everyone else does in August, but you're not required to submit a rough draft to us at any point. As for finding a beta, keep an eye on our beta post for someone to pop in. (I know there's nobody there yet - we're working on finding some people!) If there's nobody there when you start looking, or if nobody there is someone you want to work with, you can always post at beta-search and get someone that way. You could also try posting in DC communities on LJ, or in the appropriate fandom/character tags on Tumblr. :)

Hi, I am a moron and I don't remember my main journal password, so I submitted a request to join the comm under this name because I have been reliably informed that I have like one day to hit 8K on my bang.

I checked my email and it looks like I'm signed up, but if I'm not, then just let me know so I can stop staring at this blinking cursor in horror? (I kid-- I only have a good hour of writing to hit the 80% mark.)
