[Cass looks in confusion at the version of Jason now randomly sitting at the table of her makeshift apartment.]

Uh... what work?

"Sorry, sis," Jason says, with a sigh. "I was trying to deflect some reporter trying to track down Dick."

[gentlejustice]

[Cass tilts her head, slightly confused.]

... 'sis'?

[brotherlybird]

"Oh! Um..." Jason realizes he did that Hub thing that pisses him off so much -- he assumed that other worlds were like his. "Bruce adopted both of us? So... in my world, you're my sister, and I'm one of your brothers."

[gentlejustice]

[Cass's eyes widen.] Bruce... adopted me?

[Cass had never even thought about that idea. Bruce had never even mentioned it to her.

She wanted to take over for Bruce, when he was done. He was... like a father. Would adopting her really mean anything? Why does it feel like it would?]

"Yes. Um, eventually. Not... not as long as he took with Dick, but... yes."
