[He extends a leg with toe pointed, turns his leg to inspect both sides. He hasn't raised his eyes, and assumes that he's in the correct kitchen and addressing his girlfriend Kora.] I don't know if I'm totally down with the spikiness. Any thoughts?
[That was not the voice that he was expecting to hear. Jason looks up, and recognizes Connor (not specifically who, not yet). He can't help grinning when he hears "my Jason", because now he can make an educated guess.]
Nope, not quite the Jason you were looking for, I think. [He drops his leg into a more comfortable position and taps his chin thoughtfully... probably bringing attention to the black leather bondage cuffs on his wrists.] I'm sure if I wrote some sort of glowing recommendation for this getup, Mrs. Hawke would be happy to get one of his own.
Especially if... [His grin turns positively wicked.] What would you do to 'your Jason' if you had him dressed up all pretty like this?
[Jason glances around the kitchen, then smirks at Connor when he protests.] The Hub's a wicked thing.
[And he deliberately leans back to grab a nearby pen, and then jots down a few notes on his arm once he's sat back up: "Tell Red to get this outfit/ Connor will lick him."] I might as well let it work to Red's advantage, maybe he'll loosen up a little if he gets some kinky sex.
[chuckle,] What do you think? You could use silk scarves to tie him to the headboard, those are way easy to slip, just in case.
It is my firm belief that everybody could do with more kinky sex in their lives. [beat] Within reason.

One of his biggest problems is that he has horrible self-control. He'll have brilliant plans and ruin them because he's too impulsive, or say things without thinking, but he's so set on pretending there's nothing wrong with him that he'll do anything to act like he meant to do it or it wasn't a big deal and oh god I need to shut up.
[Jason drops the "kinky sex" topic for now. He shrugs.]
Yep. With the way the Pit slapped my brain bits back together, my last ordeal was particularly vivid, and I was tied up for a lot near the end. [He says this in a rather nonchalant tone of voice.] I had someone I trusted help me work through a lot of that. I mean, I wanted to, so I was lucky.

I'm so sorry. I don't think he was tied up, he doesn't talk about it a lot. He has issues with being held in some ways but being tied up never seemed to be a problem.
There's variations, I think, to how it all went down. And... [Jason mimes zipping his lips shut] I know how to keep a secret.
Well... [He shrugs again.] In a completely hypothetical bedroom situation, some people find it comfortable or liberating to surrender control to somebody else. And speaking from... completely hypothetical personal experience, having to show self control in one area of your life sometimes leads to better self control in other areas?

That explains a lot, but I can't really say I've noticed Jason's self control improving any.
Though apparently, the fact that he's not constantly acting like I am right now means he's got to have at least some self control.
