Kon growls slightly as he looks up, but rather pointedly avoids eye contact once he realizes who it is, though the scent is all wrong, and his pack-link is gone.
"The... what? I'm sorry, I don't think I'm followin'."
He keeps his eyes down, seemingly watching Jason's chin as he tries to sort out what's going on, all of his senses feel screwy right now. He studies Jason's body language closely, trying to read something off that that he'd normally be able to pick up from the link.
"They killed me?! They can't-- there are rules. I have- there wasn't even. I'm dead?"
He just stares at her, dismayed. Though he'd longed for some way to see her again, and have her back, however unrealistic his desperation may have been... not like this. He didn't want it to end like this.
"For--" For a split second he thought he'd heard Tim, but this boy is... well, for one a boy. And, most assuredly human. "For my friends... They seem to have run off on me."
He crosses his arms and considers for a second, looking around. "That happens? You all right kid? You lost yourself?"
He's not exactly skilled at question dodging, but he's not sure exactly how to explain that the friends were in his head more than actually physically there at the moment.
He sputters for a moment, and gapes. The silence in his head nearly forgotten as he tries to imagine what could possibly have injured his Alpha in such a way that he would require fore-arm crutches. He quickly collects himself, though, keeping his eyes on Dick's chin as he speaks.
"I'm... The link's gone quiet, for me at least. I'm sorry... I'm really not sure as t' why."
Kon opens his mouth, about to speak, when he catches Dick's scent more solidly. He studies Dick, obviously confused as he comes to realize that the werewolf scent is environmental, not Dick's own.
"How are you human?" Dick's question goes forgotten, in favor of his own.
