Why have you chosen these avatars?

Heh. Not sure it's so much "chose" as "was possessed by," but let's see...

Noonesson was originally started as a regular pre-shitty-canon Jason character before I got hooked on Laurel's crack pairing of doom and awesome, so I chose him for pretty much the same reason I like Jason in general- he hits a LOT of the things I like about characters. He's snarky, but also angsty and more than a little crazy. He's morally gray, poses interesting questions, and, if properly used (which rarely happens but w/e), he has an enormous potential to be incredibly interesting, both on his own or in interactions with others, especially the Batfamily. I guess I kind of made him out of frustration at that potential not being used- I wanted to do what DC didn't, which is also the reason I started ficcing him. Then I just started really having fun with him.

Jokester (hasamallet), though I like him for entirely different reasons than Jason, was made for much the same reason- potential for awesome that never happened with canon. Also, I figured it'd be really fun to toss him in with all the Bats.

Dig_two_graves... I forget exactly why I decided to make him as an RP character, but I'm pretty sure it had a lot to do with seeing how he'd interact with the other Jasons and Bats, given his unique history.

Dplanetupdates is kind of a weird muse, but a few years back I was really interested in journalism, and still have kind of a soft spot for article stuff Besides that, I really do like seeing the "background" things of the DC 'verse- the little stories that go on separate from the lives of the heroes, but often as consequences of the stories that we do see. So, combining them into one little worldbuilding muse seemed like fun. (I really need to finish that Green Arrow related article, too... anyone know the name of the judge who exiled Ollie, by any chance?)

Onebaddayaway was made pretty much exclusively to fuck with all the Bats' heads. I regret nothing.

Underbatcontrol is based off an idea that's been floating around in the back of my head since a little while after we first met Earth-51!Bruce in Countdown, and he randomly popped back into my consciousness a little while ago, so I figured I'd make him so that all the Jasons could see just why their Bruce never did kill the Joker.

Then I decided that, hey, the multiverse is a big place, and there really needed to be a universe where Bruce did kill the Joker after Jason's death, and everything turned out just fine, so I made the Jason from that 'verse so he could O_O at the other Jasons, and lo and behold, whatbattle was born.

I'd been kind of tempted to make deadkidwalking for a while, but never really thought much about actually doing it until the recent bodilesswarrior post in which she mentioned not being able to track the Jason in her 'verse. I thought it'd be interesting to introduce pre-Lazarus-Pit!Jason as the Jason from her 'verse, whom she couldn't find because he wasn't there, and after PMing the mun to ask if that was okay, I made him.

Aaaaand... I do believe that's everyone. Holy fuck, when did I get so many muses?

I see. I'm beginning to understand why this nexus of worlds sees so many incarnations of Jason Todd. The man certainly has a way of making his way into the minds of dreamers. Why do you suppose this is?

He's a snarky, angsty badass with issues who's probably more than a little crazy and definitely very traumatized. It endears him to a lot of people, myself included.

I see. You understand him because he is human.

That's one way of looking at it, yes.

Also, I guess I should add notcopyingollie to that list now. He's another one I made just to screw with the other characters, Jasons especially.
