Look, we have a visitor! [Leonard/Paula]
As much as they both loved their daughter, Leonard knew it was important to have a little alone time, to keep them sane. So once a day, Leonard stopped by Sickbay, presumably to make sure everything was running smooth in his absence, but usually he just ended up telling Olivia stories, which were pretty impressive for a five-day old baby.
On the sixth day, Jim looked strong enough to handle a trip around the ship, so Leonard suggested he go for a walk, just to clear his head and get out of their room. At first Jim seemed hesitant, until Leonard suggested he visit the bridge, if he could promise not to lead the ship into battle, or discover a new planet. Jim laughed, but finally dressed and left for a little, leaving Leonard in charge of Olivia, who did not seem too happy about it all.
"You know, for someone with bad lungs, you sure can wail," he murmured to her, holding her in his arms as he walked around the room. "C'mon, princess," he kissed her forehead, "if your daddy comes back and sees this, he'll never leave us alone again."
