Having the guys over... [Jim, Bones, Chris, Zach, Karl]
Bones had gotten up early that morning, butterflies in his stomach as he left a sleepy Jim in bed, wrapped up in sheets and pillows. But a mug of strong coffee on the porch and the beautiful Risan sunrise wasn't enough to settle the thoughts in his head. He couldn't have explained why he was nervous at the idea of showing off his home to the Chris, Zach, and Karl - he'd done so before when he was married, had friends and family over to his house that he shared with his wife back in Georgia. The cottage on the beach was exquisite - nothing to be ashamed of there.
Maybe it was just the idea that he had only shared this little bit of paradise with Jim so far, and it had been dream-like in many ways. Intellectually, Bones knew that the dream wouldn't dissipate with the addition of friends and family - but still, he was nervous.
Jim had gone shopping for all the food and drink for the barbecue while he'd tidied the place up, and now they were just waiting for their guests to arrive. Sitting on the porch, Bones could hear Jim scooting around the kitchen area, making some sort of snack for all of them. If this worked out, well, maybe they could invite some others over to their home before they left Risa.
