Meeting new life (Bones/Jim/Narada) [TOS quarters]
After his message from Jim, Bones left work a few moments early and took a walk around the ship before heading toward the rooms that the trio occupied. There were a lot of things going on in his head about this meeting. On the one hand, it was new life, and there was little that interested him more on this mission than the prospect of encountering new life. Already he'd seen the Enterprise herself become sentient, and heard about the car in Engineering and one of Tina's bra's roaming the ship and actually using language.
But this... this was not only life, but Romulan life. Ally of Nero. He couldn't keep separate inside him the feelings of excitement and dread.
Perpahs actually meeting the Narada would settle his thoughts, one way or the other.
