Thanks... the patient is one of the actors. He's having a hard time of it all.
Long story short - back in the time period the actors came from - DeForest Kelley had been dead for several years; he came back to life a few days ago and met up with his friends from the television show.
When they arrived on the Enterprise, they were all de-aged, DeForest is now in his mid-forties. Misses his deceased wife - they were married for over fifty years, George. I can't even imagine what that is like...
He's depressed, George. Very sad, a sadness that is just heartbreaking to watch, and he probably needs to talk about all of this to someone who's impartial and understanding.
Anyway, he played the other me on the show, and I think my very name sort of weirds him out, not to mention I was the one to explain all of this to him when he arrived, so he's probably not thrilled with me.
Interested in talking to him? If not, no worries, I'll take care of it. But he sounded like someone right up your alley.
He sounds like he's hurting. I'll do what I can...and I'd do that, even without the new interest in psychology. I've got a bit of experience at the newly un-dead thing at least.
You know if you need my help, all you've got to do is ask.
