ok, so it's been a long while since i have made a non-depressive entry, and i have a few spare moments now, so here i am. i don't really know what to write about, aside from the fact that school sucks bigtime, and i can't believe the summer is over. i'm so scared of college apps and what not, and i don't really know how to start with some of that stuff. on top of that, ap physics is an absolute beast. that is by far going to be my hardest, most pain-in-the-ass class i'm taking this year. oh well, perhaps o'll get a crapload of credit for it - it is two exams in the time of one, after all. already i'm going crazy - if it gets really bad (i.e., much worse) then i might consider dropping, but i don't know what else i'd take, and i think i can handle it, so we'll see. maybe things will calm down a little when i get back in gear. speaking of which, i've been learning how to drive a manual transmission, and i'm starting to get decent, so that's pretty fun. it's a lot more work, for sure, but it's fun too. hm so this weekend was ok, uneventful i suppose - but that's a good thing, cause i don't know when i'll get another uneventful moment starting tomorrow. friday afternoon i went to trinity to watch the girls play field hockey - that was from like 3 until 7:30ish cause there was a lightning delay at the start of the second game - but man, was it hot. during the first game the sun fried us, and then during the second game it started to cool down and thus got really humid and incredibly sticky. i can only imagine how bad it was for the players. so yeah, i took jessica home cause she needed a ride, and then did nothing pretty much. saturday i read a lot of le morte d'arthur and just hung out for most of the day. that night i met danny, erica, ariane, and mike canfield at the byrd for "bend it like beckham," and for the first time erica and i had a normal time out, like we used to, so that was good - loads of fun to be sure - and then we went to bev's right after the movie and i got a choc. shake which was oh-so-good. so then i drove erica, ariane, and mike back to their car cause for some reason they chose to park in the "deck" rather than just street park, but oh well it wasn't any trouble so i don't know why i'm complaining. sunday i skipped church and slept in, and then read a crapload until around 3, and i went over to the chapins' and hung out w/ the chapins and the jacobs and yeah. sunday night i read some more and talked to people online and then reorganized my music on the computer. today i slept till like 10ish and cleaned off the back deck, trimmed the tree that was overhanging our driveway with loppers, and pruned the bush next to the driveway so my dad can actually park his car on the edge of the driveway and not block the entrance. i went out and practiced driving stick some more and then my grandparents and aunt came over, and we ate and hung out. then i did some physics homework and read a little more, and here i am now. so yeah, it was a decent weekend. not without its stresses, as always, but oh well. and off to school we go. so anyways, it's bedtime now, but have a great night (or whenever you're reading this - morning, day, afternoon, etc.)
