Please share whatever you learn. The medical protocols aren't published in the handbook (except to say they retain the right to sanction you) and you have to request them from the Dean of Students - and they aren't always provided in full even then.

My roomate did a brief investigation with the Counseling Center's office as well for the Student Assembly. Information is power. I really applaud your getting involved personally.

Sadly the negligence and complete disregard for student welfare does not end with the mental protocols. There are many health and civil rights violations in our Honor and Judicial systems. Not to mention that on rainy days, we are walking on around four times the legal limit of human waste from leaky sewer pipes...

However, to be more specific. I know of one student's situation at WM which is almost word for word a reanactment of the GWU article (minus the lawsuit). If you'd like to discuss it sometime I'm always willing to talk about these subjects.

Anyway, I applaud your efforts in this. If only we had more people on campus who would get concerned about their fellow students and campus policy.
