Backblogging Will Have to Wait
Happy (Belated) New Year! Yes, first blog of the new year. In fact, first time I've been on LJ this year. Why? Well for starters, I'm not trying to ignore anyone, no drama-rama there. Instead, I told myself I wouldn't blog again until I finished moving into my new place.
Have I finished moving? NO.
(But I'm oh-so-close.)
Anyways, I figured I'd post something so y'all would know I'm still alive and all that.
There is SO much to talk, er, type about on here...but I can't. Physically.
While I was in New Orleans, I wanted to get an antenna topper for my car out here, but every place I checked was sold out. I decided to do the creative thing: buy a pair of mardi gras beads with a mini Saints helmet fastened to the end and hot glue it to an old antenna ball. On Sunday, I was attempting to cut the extra plastic loop off the helmet when the blade slipped and cut about 1cm into my thumb pad. Don't worry, it's not too bad (it shocked me more than anything else), but I did have to go to the ER and get a couple of steristrips (wasn't large enough for sutures).
However, I did finish the damn helmet:
