Nearly Recovered from the Weekend
Yes, I know it's Wednesday and I haven't been on LJ/AIM/online in an ASS-long time, but Holy Cannoli, did my weekend wipe me out. So, short update, and I may expand upon it later.
First up: Joey's "21 and i'm gettin drunk" Party was a blast at Dave & Busters in Orange County (not the OC, you out-of-towners). Ate dinner with Helen and Luis, and after one helluva Friday drive, I was huckin' fungry. We then met up with Joey, Katie, April, Kevin, Geoff & the rest of them at the golf thingy in the arcade. Then we all went off to play videogames around the whole place, finding that alcohol & trivia games don't work well for me. Sometime real late that night, we called it quits, partially on account of Joey's drunkenness. Since I wanted to crash at their place, Katie asked if I'd be willing to take her and Joey back to his place. I accepted, even though I knew fully well that there'd be a good chance of Joey blowing chunks. And man, did I call it. I won't go into details, but let's just say we made a bunch of pits stops on the ride home. The next day, he and Katie took me out for a nice car wash.
Fast forward to Scott's Party Saturday nght, where we celebrated his birthday, graduation, and completion of his bar exam. I arrived late, originally thinking I misheard the directions, but as I later found out, it was because I was a little too eager to take the nearest freeway exit. (How was I supposed to know there'd be two freeways starting with a "5" within a couple exits of each other? Read a map. Shuttup, Greek chorus.) Karaoke, a bounce house, a hot tub and a plethora of booze made it one great night to remember. Heh, if only I did though. By the time I got there, I was so frustrated for being so late that I downed a quick drink or two within minutes of me walking in the door. Had a few more during the night, so obviously I slept away from home again. I know I was beyond buzzed, but I wasn't quite drunk. I was.."brunk" I guess. Whatever it was, it made me one with the karaoke machine for part of the night, and partaker of the hot tub for the rest. Tons of fun by all (except for Justin, who got rammed by accident in the jewels by a lesbian).
